We attended a commercial premises in central London that we had quoted for applying a liquid resin treatment to prevent water ingress. On the visit, upon lifting the walkway tiles, we found several areas of cracks within the asphalt roof surface. We therefore treated the area as we had quoted as well as applying liquid resin around the support pads to the handrail system local to the water ingress staining area. (they had sunk into the Asphalt roof surface and therefore would also potentially be part of the issue).
