This month we meet Dewi Bowen.
Hi Dewi, so what brought you to SPA?
What bought me to SPA was the connection between the company and London Welsh RFC , as director Mark is a former player and current fan of the club, and the company had a job for me that suited my trade and skills.
How are your working days?
I enjoy my working days and everyday is different which keeps the mind fresh, also being new to London I get to see all over London and the different sites it has to offer.
What are your plans for the future and how would you like to progress?
As I am a plasterer I would like to progress my trade and get my qualifications in K-rend and other silicone based renders. And would also like to add another string to my bow in becoming a qualified electrician whilst also progressing my rugby career with London Welsh.
..and outside of work how do you like to spend your time?
When I’m outside of work you will normally find me on the weekend playing or watching rugby and enjoying a pint with the boys. I spend most of my evenings in the gym as staying fit and healthy is so important. Also I do enjoy the cinema, surprisingly enough I prefer going on my own!
