Planned maintenance – Refurbishment of toilets in office due to rising damp. We removed all existing flaking paintwork and prepared the area using hot air blowers (to dry the plaster out) then sanded. We then applied 2 coats of Stain Blocker (special waterproof coating that prevents stains from coming through fresh paint). When this was dry we then emulsioned the urinal back and side walls using Johnstones durable moisture resistant and washable acylic paint.

Emergency lock replacement
Team attended a commercial building and identified, sourced and replaced lock.
Health and safety hazard repair
Our team attended an industrial park where some steps had become a Health and Safety hazard. Lifted , cleaned and relaid the slabs on a new bed of mortar and painted step nosings.
Removal of electric entrance barrier
Our reactive team were called to a retail park in order to remove an electric entrance barrier.
Main access door repair
Our team attended as a matter of urgency a commercial building where the main access doors had developed a problem.
Decorating
After a number of leaks our decorating team attended a commercial building to redecorate the staircases and landings. Initially stain block was applied followed by two coats of matt emulsion.
Floor replacement
Our flooring team attended a hospital and replaced corridor flooring. This was done over two weekends so as not to disrupt patients.
