Planned maintenance – Refurbishment of toilets in office due to rising damp. We removed all existing flaking paintwork and prepared the area using hot air blowers (to dry the plaster out) then sanded. We then applied 2 coats of Stain Blocker (special waterproof coating that prevents stains from coming through fresh paint). When this was dry we then emulsioned the urinal back and side walls using Johnstones durable moisture resistant and washable acylic paint.

Groundworks
Groundwork team attended commercial car park to reset corner stone. Cleaned all old mortar from stone and cleaned base. Reset with new mortar.
Electrical
Electrician attended site and gained access to distribution board and found breaker had tripped. Reset breaker and checked lights.

Installation of the SFS infill external walls before fitting the fire rated cladding and insulation.
External envelope education extension
Cladding of new build extension . The unusual angles formed by the design were a challenge but the resulting effect was worthwhile.
